New Speaker for CAB Bristol event
at SS Great Britain

CAB is delighted to announce that Ben Williams, Business Development Manager – Construction, BSi is the 3rd speaker for the Regional Members’ meeting at SS Great Britain on Wednesday 17 October 2018. To date over 100 are registered for the mini-conference which has the theme Standards, Testing, Certification and Compliance post Brexit.

The keynote Speaker is Kevin Frewin, Technical Development Manager, BSI whose presentation will cover CE marking post EuExit. The 2nd speaker Mark Swanborough, Associate Director of Certification, Wintech Engineering Limited will cover Curtain Walling and Rainscreen Cladding Certification.

Ben Williams, our 3rd speaker will address Notified Body Certification Schemes for Secure Doors & Windows. He will discuss the scope of the BSi certification scheme for PAS 24:2016 the enhanced security performance requirements of doors and windows in the UK, and how this relates to, and can be extended based on the size and specification of the product tested.

Ben has spent the last decade supporting businesses throughout the UK to implement strategies that will allow organisational resilience. Having joined BSI earlier this year, he is currently working within the Construction sector looking at Product Certification and helping businesses to differentiate via the third-party certification of their products.
