CAB Launch Seminar on JCT & NEC Contracts

We are pleased to announce the next Seminar in our popular series on Contractual Awareness entitled ‘JCT and NEC contracts explained’ which takes place on Wednesday 25 October at Holiday Inn Hotel, Cranes Farm Road, Waterfront Walk, Festival Leisure Park, Basildon, SS14 3DG

Our presenter will once again be Geraldine Fleming, Executive Director of Knowles, who are part of the largest Construction Claims Consultancy in the world. This seminar is aimed at those within your business who are involved in forming and/or delivering contracts successfully on site including:-

• Estimators
• QS’s
• Site managers
• Engineers
• Directors

Delegates will be given an overview of the two main forms of contracts used in the UK, and the pitfalls that they need to watch out for. Subjects covered will include:-

• Contract formation
• Communications
• Dealing with changes in scope
• Dealing with delays and prolongation costs
• Payment
