‘World’s first triple glazing spacer bar’

SWISSPACER is claiming a world first with the launch of Triple, said to be the only warm edge spacer bar designed specifically for triple glazing.

Launched at Glasstec, Swisspacer Triple eliminates the need for two single spacer bars, due to a centre groove which holds the middle pane of glass in place. This also allows sealed unit makers to use slimmer 2mm or 3mm middle panes, reducing the overall weight of the sealed unit, says the company.

Available in 25mm, 33mm and 37mm bars, Triple only requires two layers of butyl seal, reducing the risk of sealed unit failure caused by gas loss or moisture penetration. It can be processed by hand or on existing machinery for double glazed units.
