FIT gets set for ‘biggest dinner yet’
September 2016

Next year’s FIT Show Gala Dinner is set to be its biggest ever, with a Parisian Burlesque theme to help swell the numbers to the 1,000 capacity at the bigger venue of the NEC. But the organisers are warning show-goers to be quick in booking because this year’s event was sold out more than six months before the event took place.

On Wednesday, May 24, guests will enjoy a champagne reception, a three-course meal with wine and star entertainment that will include a yet to be revealed celebrity host. For the cabaret, organisers say to expect intimate lighting and raunchy entertainment, stunning showgirls, Can-Can dancers, mime artists, contortionists and living statues from the Burlesque Show.

Then after the newly introduced FIT Show Awards and the presentation of £10,000 of prize money to the winners of the Master Fitter Challenge, guests can party into the early hours.

“As with every year we’re expecting the Gala Dinner to sell out quickly,” said The FIT Show’s Matthew Glover. “As soon as this year’s FIT Show ended we had people contacting us asking when they could purchase tickets for next year’s event, and rightly so. With an exciting Burlesque Show that is going to bring the wow factor to the Gala Dinner, as well as having a celebrity host, and of course the Master Fitter Challenge and FIT Awards presentations, it’s set to be an exciting night.”
