Gloucestershire-based aluminium fabricator CUSTOMADE has bolstered its aluminium retail support package with the launch of extra resources including a retail website and an approved installer network scheme for Real Aluminium installers.

The site is aimed at generating leads for installers of its Real Aluminium range of windows, bi-folding doors, sliding doors, composite doors, French doors, residential doors and roof lanterns.

Customade Group Marketing Manager Claire Miller explained: “Despite the lure of higher profit margins, many installers have been reluctant to enter the world of aluminium because there were so many obstacles in their way. Long lead times, poor marketing support and a lack of qualified consumer sales leads were the top hurdles. This complete solution helps installers to overcome them and really get off the ground with aluminium.

“We’re driving traffic to the website with the help of targeted SEO and Google Adwords, and we’re equipping installers with all the tools they need to convert their consumer leads into profitable business. It’s a major boost for those installers entering the world of aluminium or those who are thinking about switching from a less reliable supplier.”

The Real Aluminium Installer Network provides members with an approved installer logo and access to residential aluminium installation images. Approved installers will also receive exclusive leads via the retail website.

An Installation of the Month competition has also been launched. Each month, the winning installations will feature on the Real retail website and they will be widely promoted by social media and trade PR. Help to achieve local press coverage is also provided. Every winner will be entered into the award finals where one overall winner will be chosen as the Real Aluminium Installer of the Year.

Customade has also enhanced its showroom and marketing support package with a new brochure, detailing what’s on offer to installers to help them promote themselves to homeowners and create a professional image.
