New aluminium range added

Trade fabricator TWR BIFOLDS has introduced AluK bi-fold and sliding doors, bringing two products to its range which are aimed at the high-end residential and commercial markets.

Terry Richardson, managing director of TWR Bifolds, said: “We made the decision to start manufacturing AluK to continue offering customers as wide a choice as possible.

“The quality of the products and the potential of the system makes it easier for installers to win profitable new business across both the domestic and commercial aluminium markets where high-performance entrance solutions are in demand.”

TWR is now manufacturing and supplying AluK aluminium sliding doors and the BSF70 bi-fold door. The door is available in a range of panel configurations, in both open-in and out options, and features incredibly slim sightlines, providing great views to outside and allowing more light to enter a building.

AluK bi-fold doors can achieve low U-values of 1.7W/m2K and are tested to PAS24 standards for enhanced security. They also feature a unique flush line, pop-out handle option which allows the panels to lie flatter when the door is open for a clear unobstructed opening.

Recent investment in its colour processing means the company can now manufacture bi-fold doors in any RAL colour on a six-day lead time.
