REYNAERS is offering a new RIBA-accredited CPD course, “Accessible Solutions for Aluminium Windows and Doors,” aimed at architects and other construction industry professionals.
Consultant project manager Simon Cray, who devised and led the 45-minute seminar, said “CPD is an incredibly important resource for industry professionals looking to upskill. Giving participants the opportunity to demonstrate continual progression and commitment, it in turn enables organisations to position themselves as experts within the field.”
The course, which Reynaers can deliver at its own Knowledge Centre HQ in Birmingham or at the architects’ premises, will provide delegates with a comprehensive guide to the changes to Approved Document M. It will also include an overview of the products that can assist architects in meeting the updated standards, which include new requirements for windows, doors and handles.
It will additionally cover a comprehensive background history of accessibility legislation, including The Discrimination Act 1995 (c 50) and its replacement the Equality Act 2010.
