Ali door colour match
October 2019

HWL TRADE FRAMES has launched a new offering of aluminium bi-folds, patio and lift/slide doors foiled to colour match its R9, R7 and R2 frames from the Residence Collection.

The fabricator offers 16 colour and woodgrain options in the Residence Collection’s Graduate and Element Collections plus any of 37 foils offered by Renolit, on special order across its R9, R7 and R2, product ranges, and says these are now available across its aluminium bi-folding and inline sliding patio door systems, including options from Smart and Alutech.

Managing Director Mark Haley explained: “Aluminium is a key driver of the bi-fold and inline sliding door markets. We can colour-match our aluminium door offer to any Residence Collection colour. This includes R9, which remains the consumer product of choice in period replacements to the far more contemporary R2.

“The growth in the market as it stands at the moment isn’t necessarily being delivered by the replacement window market but the home improvement one. What we’re seeing is the supply of window into home extensions alongside either an aluminium bi-fold or inline sliding door. The flexibility to offer a colour-match to window foils is a major selling point, for installers.”

The move the latest development of HWL’s offer after last year’s launch of its non-glass-bonded R9 window, which features a 90° butt welded joint inside and out.”
