‘Minimalist with Georgian’
October 2018
Frames created by REYNAERS and fabricated by Bespoke Design Glazing were used to juxtaposes minimalistic modern interiors with traditional Georgian window design in a residential project in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
The doors on the rear façade were made using two inward opening double Reynaers SL 38 doors that are encased by two fixed SL 38 windows across the living and dining area.
The Georgian grid effect was created with surface mounted bars on the inside and outside of a window or door. This allows for just one pane of glass to be inserted.
The SL 38 is available in three frame styles, Classic, Ferro and Cubic. The window and door are available in double and triple glazing.
Rebecca Cope, marketing manager at Reynaers said: “It is a great example of how adding distinctive Georgian window design to a contemporary home can give a timeless feel.”
