COASTAL GROUP says it has made rust and leaking oil associated with ball bearing hinges a thing of the past with the launch of the new blu HQ and HY hinges.

Manufactured from 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel, and available in four finishes, super-satin steel, polished steel, PVD brass and black, they are intended properties in exposed or coastal locations where there is a high salt, corrosive environment or where acidic timber is used, the new hinges are self-lubricating with oil-free washers. There is also no leaf play ensuring an accurate and consistent fit.
Featuring slim knuckles, the HY3 hinge also has a new ‘hole pattern’ based on customer feedback. They are available in square or radius corners and have a 3mm gap for enhanced aesthetics.
