Expressive Arts Centre, Ashlawn School
October 2016

Tamworth based fabricator Window and Door Maintenance Services has completed phase two of the development of Ashlawn School based in Rugby, the extension of the Expressive Arts Centre, using window and door systems from KESTREL ALUMINIUM SYSTEMS.

Quoting the project using Logikal estimating software, a range of Kestrel products were used; both thermal and non-thermal ground floor treatment and commercial doors and the 60mm Window suite.

In total 97 windows were manufactured, all specified to be top hung using restricted hinges to comply with building safety regulations for schools and public buildings.

The Kestrel Aluminium Systems’ thermal framing and thermal commercial door systems were installed.

Kestrel Aluminium Systems’ Sales Manager John Treagust visited the school with Sean Anderson, Director of Window and Door Maintenance to see both phases of the project completed by our customer. “Until you are on site you can’t quite gauge just how big this project is going to be. Already having completed half of it Window and Door Maintenance have made a significant contribution to the overall build, and whilst the choice of green as a window colour is unusual one, once it was on site and installed against the red panels and wood cladding it fitted in perfectly creating a bright and modern building.”
