The Easifold range of folding sliding doors, which has a bespoke free-glide running system, now also features a U-value of 1.32W/m²K, outperforming Part L requirements.
The free-glide running system designed by leading UK manufacturer Origin uses near-frictionless, maintenance-free needle roller bearings encased in tough nylon and concealed within the bottom track to ensure ease of operation.
Precision engineered from maintenance-free and recyclable aluminium that will not warp, rot or need varnishing, the Easifold range is available in more than 500 powder-coated RAL colours, realistic wood-effect finishes, metallics and dual-colour options, as well as a marine grade for aggressive environments.
Featuring an industry-leading 20-year guarantee, the doors feature elegant ultra-slim sight lines, can be designed in a variety of different configurations to open in or out of a room and fold to the left or right, and are complemented by a range of colour-coded or stainless steel ergonomic lever handles.
Fitted with finger-safe gaskets as standard and internally beaded, the lead doors have an eight-point locking mechanism and an anti-drill barrel, while every slave door features shoot bolt locking.
In addition to these security measures, the thermally-broken Easifold door is also severe weather tested by the BFRC to EN ISO 10077-2 and achieved the highest category rating of ‘1200 special’.
