New DER offering

 

The British Board of Agrément (BBA) can now offer Door Energy Ratings under the British Fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) Door Rating scheme.

The BBA’s BFRC approved simulators are UKAS accredited and can use the simulation software to include all door styles.

The BBA can offer testing facilities for U-values using its Guarded Hot Box test rig and can provide air leakage testing needed for the calculation. Both tests are UKAS accredited. Thermal modelling is also available for companies developing new door designs.

The BBA can verify all door material types: PVCU, timber, aluminium, composite and even hybrid doors.
