More than 60 people gathered at Birmingham’s Planetarium at The Think Tank for the launch of KUBU SMART LOCKfrom Avantis International.

CEO Mark Bromley said: “There was no better place to hold the event than at The Think Tank. It’s a place full of progress and innovation and that’s exactly what Kubu is bringing to the glazing industry’s Smart Home revolution.

“Home security is important to everyone and we have all had the panic at the airport, on the way to work or when we’ve gone to bed of ‘Did I lock the door?’. With Kubu, you can just check the App and find out. It also has a WiFi perimeter feature so that if you leave your door unlocked and your phone disconnects from your home WiFi onto a 4G network, Kubu will let you know. You’ll never leave home with the door unlocked again!”

Kubu by Avantis will be on show on Stand I25 in the Smart Zone at the FIT Show in May.
