Value T/T range
May 2018

MILA has partnered with the European hardware manufacturer Axor to bring a new range of tilt and turn hardware to the UK.

Suitable for windows from 400mm to 1520mm wide and 370mm to 2390mm high, the new range gives fabricators a cost effective alternative to the Siegenia tilt and turn hardware which Mila already distributes, and widens the choice available for Mila customers.

Managing Director Richard Gyde explained: “The tilt and turn market is small but significant, particularly in the social housing sector and in the south of England and Scotland, but it has become increasingly price sensitive in recent years.

“Customers operating in this market have asked us to help them reduce their costs and we have responded by identifying a new supplier in Axor and joining forces with them to bring their fully tested and accredited tilt and turn hardware range to the UK for the first time.

The new Axor products from Mila are manufactured in a purpose built factory in Ukraine which has full ISO9001 quality accreditation. They have been fully tested and accredited to all the necessary UK endurance and corrosion standards at Europe’s largest test facility - IFT Rosenheim in Germany.

In the UK, the range has also been PAS24 security tested at Mila’s own UKAS accredited test centre and is both Approved Document Q and Secured by Design compliant.

Mila stresses that it is not replacing its Siegenia products with Axor. It is simply offering customers a wider choice and now has both ranges in stock side by side at its Daventry warehouse.
