Dudley’s Aluminium has secured a contract with ISG Construction to install the aluminium glazing and exterior fixtures on Two Central Square, the latest office development in Cardiff’s city centre providing approximately 150,000 sq ft of new office space. The building has been pre-let to Hugh James and Cardiff University School of Journalism.
The locally-based contractor, working with Rightacres Property, the developer of Central Square, will install Kawneer capped and structural silicone glazed curtain walling with extended feature cappings, revolving doors, circle slide doors, as well as automatic and manual swing doors.
Dudley’s Aluminium played a role in the development of Central Square, having been involved with the construction of One Central Square and the BBC Cymru Wales Headquarters.
Managing Director Colin Shorney, said: “We are delighted to have secured another contract to work on the construction of Two Central Square. We have been heavily involved at the site over the last year and a half and look forward to getting started on the latest development.
“It’s incredible looking back to think how much the landscape of Cardiff’s city centre has changed and we are proud to be so heavily involved in a project that will provide a real economic boost for the city. Completing the development will be a real landmark project for our company.”
