Big lifter is the star attraction
May 2017

BOHLE says the specification of larger IGUs and their onsite handling, prompted high levels of interest in its LiftMaster B1 manual lifting device at the FIT Show.

Technical Sales Representative Lance Conway, speaking at the show, said: “The LiftMaster B1 attracted a lot of interest. Installers are having to handle bigger units and doing that safely can be challenging. It meets all current regulations and restrictions governing the movement of glass on site – we actually used it here at the NEC to move our own glass into place – while delivering a high level of manoeuvrability.”

Bohle also showcased its base rail balustrading system, the EasyMount Vario. It delivers variable glass adjustment via a moveable base shoe. “What we’ve been saying to retailers is, if you’re fitting a conservatory or orangery and decking to go with it, balustrading is a great way of finishing off the project. It has lots of end user appeal and offers some pretty high margin returns”, said Lance.

“Focussing on the inside of the home, we’ve also been showing our Slidetec Optima 50 internal door, which is a great slimline alternative to a traditional internal sliding door or a great internal partition.

“We’ve had people on the stand who have been had requests from homeowners for something that divides space within their home but without losing light. Slidetec Optima is the perfect solution.”
