Two decades for fabricator

Hepworth Framework, specialist aluminium fabricator, celebrated 20 years in the business with a birthday party recently.

Based in Huddersfield, the company was founded in 1990 by Bernard Hepworth as a manufacturer and installer of aluminium door and window products for commercial and domestic use. Current owner, and managing director, Richard Steckles joined the company in 1994 bringing his extensive joinery and engineering experience to the business. 

“A birthday party is a good way to acknowledge the continuing success of the company and share this with our staff,” Richard said. “The construction industry has gone through difficult time recently, however business is improving, which is another reason for celebration.”

Many commercial developments will include examples of specialist glazing products manufactured by Hepworth Framework, including aluminium curtain walling and facades.

Richard is confident about the future of the company having just completed a major investment in a second factory: “This industry is about moving forward, and Hepworth Framework has always looked to the future,” Richard said. “It might be considered a brave decision, but we have been in business for 20 years now, and it is important that we plan and invest for the next 20 years, as these are going to be exciting times for us and the construction industry.”
