Total Glass is offering its trade customers a complete online quotation and ordering solution which helps them to produce quotes and place orders from their own PCs at times to suit them.

The Liverpool-based PVC-U and aluminium window and door fabricator has invested in the latest Business Micros EvoSatellite online ordering system. Customers can securely log on via an icon on their computer desktop to access the virtual pricing and order processing service.

Order forms, PVC-U window and door specification guides, composite door glass choices and energy rating labels can also be viewed and downloaded online making it easier, faster and more convenient for installers to get all the information they need to run their businesses.

An added advantage is the system’s ability to handle more complex products, such as bays, bows and coupled assembles, as well as to plan and price the vertical elements for conservatories.

Total Group managing director Frank Deary said: “Installers who are out working on site all day often prefer to prepare quotes and place orders in the evenings or at weekends when they have more time.

“Our new online ordering system means they can convert a quotation to an order at the click of a button – potentially saving time, reducing paperwork and giving them complete control over the process. It also allows customers to do their own material summaries, including other ancillary items such as mastics, to give a full costing for the job.”

Total Glass customers can use the online ordering option without the need to purchase additional software and receive full technical support where required.
