Software choice 
Aluminium systems company, Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium, has chosen Business Micros (Aluminium) as its European software partner.
The software company has been supplying its LogiKal system to Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium for several years, and Blyweert Beaufort has now decided to extend it to the Blyweert range of products currently in use throughout Europe.
Russell Yates, technical director at Blyweert Beaufort Aluminium, said: “LogiKal is a hugely capable manufacturing system which allows our fabricators to achieve full cutting optimisation and saw control. It can also be used for structural design work encompassing CAD drawing, wind loading and U-value calculations for frames and glass and is extremely well-supported here in the UK.
“Our confidence in the system means that we have now also selected Business Micros (Aluminium) to programme the necessary LogiKal datasets for the Blyweert range of products. The Blyweert Range has a proven track record across Europe and now, with its introduction to the UK, LogiKal has proved the perfect choice for this high performance product range.
“This will make it much easier for our customers to integrate the new profile systems into their production set ups and will also enable us to deliver the proven benefits of LogiKal to our customers across all of Europe.”
