Andrew Glover emerges at Alutech

Andrew Glover, former GGF President and co-founder of West Yorkshire Windows along with brother Matthew, has left the company after 27 years and this week announced his appointment as Brand Manager at Alutech Systems, the UK arm of the Belarus-based Alutech Group.

He first signalled his move from WYW in January when Matthew, also known for his involvement in the Conservatory Outlet Group and the FIT Show, announced he was returning to manage the company and Andrew would be leaving ‘to pursue other interests’.

He joins Alutech to head up improvements to its UK site ‘to create a welcoming, functional workspace that customers can visit to find what makes the company tick…’

Announcing his appointment, he said: “We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and the ability to deliver on our promises. So often, suppliers forget that their customers are not just a number but an important part of their organisation.”

Over the coming months, the company says Andrew will be making upgrades to the transport planning process, developing the company websites, introducing new quotation packs and overseeing several exciting new product launches.

Alutech, the architectural system manufacturer which claims sales in over 60 countries with over 4,300 employees worldwide, moved into the UK in 2016 via a 30,000sq ft warehouse and training facility in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
