GDPR workshop
March 2018
The GGF has partnered with data protection specialist Cybercrowd to host a one-day GDPR Awareness Workshop on 11 April at the Arden Hotel Solihull.
General Data Protection Regulation legislation comes into effect on 25 May, governing how companies can gather and use personal data such as names, email addresses, credit card details and more.
The agenda will include a general background to GDPR and sections on accountability, legal requirements, the significance of all aspects of data processing, and what to do if you get a subject access request.
GGF Head of Membership and Training Richard Hearn said:“We appreciate that GGF Members and others in the glass and glazing industry are busy running their businesses, so we wanted to make it easy for consumer-facing companies to get a useful overview of the new GDPR legislation.”
The workshop is free to GGF members or £245 for others.
