Successful delivery of new distribution centre

The flagship distribution centre for Trilanco, one of the UK’s leading agricultural, equine and pet product wholesalers, has benefited from an attractive fenestration package from Senior Architectural Systems.

A key feature of the new building is the glazed atrium that creates a highly visible and welcoming entrance to the reception area.  Manufactured and installed by Aire Valley Architectural Systems, the slim sightlines of Senior’s thermally-efficient SF52 aluminium curtain walling have helped to maximise the flow of natural light into the building and offer an attractive contrast to the grey cladding used on the other elevations.

Providing daylighting for the offices within the centre, the fenestration package also includes Senior’s SPW600e aluminium windows and Senior’s SPW501 aluminium doors, which are ideally suited for high traffic commercial applications.

The £7m new build facility for Trilanco is located at Mill Farm, Kirkham and was delivered by Barnfield Construction Ltd and Frank Belshaw Surveyors Ltd.
