Appointed to CHIC

Commercial fabricator The Sovereign Group has been appointed to the Central Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC), contract to supply aluminium windows. CHIC is a member consortium of Social Housing Providers.

CHIC exists to secure efficiencies and savings for its members’ asset management programmes, including all repairs, maintenance and new build activities. CHIC has a comprehensive suite of EU compliant Materials Supply, Merchants, Works & Services Contracts and Frameworks.

Sovereign was invited to join ‘Buy Better Build More’, CHIC's 6th Annual Conference and Exhibition in June at Worcester’s Sixways Stadium. Lord Digby Jones was the main guest speaker and provided many fascinating and thought-provoking views.

Sovereign Sales Director John Park-Davies said; “CHIC has a membership of nearly 40 social housing providers across England and Wales and continues to grow. We are looking forward to supporting and supplying its members with our products.”

Gordon Shirley, CHIC’s Operations Manager said, “We were pleased to extend our contract for aluminium windows with The Sovereign Group for a further five years. We look forward to them working successfully together with our members.”
