Aluminium extruder sales grow over 40%
July 2016

Aluminium extruder EXLABESA has reported a 43% increase in turnover over the same quarter last year. Derek Hodgson, the company’s General Manager, said: “We’re delighted with these results. They show that our comprehensive and exciting product range, which is all manufactured in the UK, combined with our commitment to service, is delivering what the market needs.”

Exlabesa, formerly Kaye Building Systems, rebranded to the name of its international parent company earlier this year.

It is said to be one of the few aluminium extruders in the UK to have its own anodising plant. Combined with the two extruders, two ageing ovens and vertical powder coating plant it has in its South Yorkshire manufacturing base. Its range includes windows, doors, bifold door systems, patio door systems, shopfront (both thermal and non-thermal) and steel replacement systems. It will also be extending its curtain wall system range in the next few weeks to increase the options in this area.

Derek Hodgson concluded: “We’re a growing company and we’re proud of our success. We have the experience, the expertise and the commitment to service what fabricators need from a systems partner. It’s what has driven this year on year increase in sales and it’s what we hope will drive continued success.”
