WINKHAUS has announced the promotion of its national sales manager Mike Rushen to sales director.

Mike, who joined the company 14 years ago, has managed the sales team for the last two years. In his new role he will form part of the team that sets the strategic direction for the business with particular emphasis on all sales activities.

Mike said: “Winkhaus has been growing strongly in recent years and I’m looking forward to expanding the sales team, building on our innovative approach and developing new strategies that will take the company to new levels of growth and future success.”

Mike first joined in 2004 as project manager, later becoming commercial manager before his promotion to national sales manager just over two years ago.

Managing director Justin Harris added: “This is a well-deserved promotion for Mike and his extensive knowledge of the business, aligned with full understanding of our customers’ requirements, will further strengthen our business and product portfolio in the years to come.”
