Timber window and door manufacturer BLACK MILLWORK has entered the aluminium market with a range of windows aimed at both the contemporary and historic steel replacement markets.

General Manager Gary Hutton said: “This is a move that will open up a whole new section of the market for us. We want to assist developers and self-builders in creating the projects of their dreams and as such it’s essential we make our offering as comprehensive as possible.”

The move is an addition to an aluminium door range launched by the company in 2014.

The manufacturer has already seen the new range specified in a redevelopment in London where it is being used is six blocks of flats, each block housing 700 residents.
