Solidor has chosen the dedicated WINKHAUS Stable Door Lock that has helped the product to become the first stable door to achieve a Secured by Design licence.

Gareth Busson, Solidor head of sales and marketing says the decision was largely influenced by its ‘ability to meet the robust physical security standards’ demanded by SBD accreditation’.

Designed for timber and composite doors, the Winkhaus SDL is a purpose-made locking system comprising two separate locks. It is supplied with a 20mm faceplate to allow for increased machining tolerances. A sprung latch and nickel-plated steel deadbolt provides maximum strength in the centre of the door, while 45mm and 55mm backset options allow for a wide range of furniture options.
