Newport school contract

DUDLEY’S ALUMINIUM has secured a contract in excess of £750k with BAM Construction to install the aluminium façade at John Frost School, in Newport, South Wales, with work beginning in the spring of 2017.

The company will install Metal Technology System 17 capped curtain walling, Metal Technology System 4-35 HI+ window system and manual and automatic doors at the site.

Dudley’s managing director Colin Shorney said: “We have an excellent reputation in South Wales for our education sector work and we are very happy to be involved with another important project. Our team is looking forward to starting work at the site and we are confident that the new school development will help to create a long-lasting legacy for the institution.”

Due to open before September 2017, the development of John Frost School will eventually provide 900 places for pupils from Newport and South Monmouthshire.
