Supercar showroom

The TD68 Jack Door and the JD47 non-thermal system from JACK ALUMINIUM SYSTEMS have been used by IDF Aluminium for Apollo Interiors as part of a full renovation of the Lamborghini Showroom on Old Brompton Road, South Kensington.

Will Woods, managing director at IDF Aluminium explained: “This wasn’t your typical shopfront project. The Lamborghini showroom needed large sliding doors, so that the cars could be moved in and out as needed. As a premium car brand, it also needed a solution that was stylish and looked great. And it obviously needed top security performance too.”

Jack Aluminium’s JD47 Shopfront System was used for the large sliding commercial doors. It has beading that has been designed onto the rail sections of the doors to eliminate the opportunity to deglaze from the outside.

For access doors at the showroom, IDF used the TD68 Jack Door System. By choosing a remote access Jack Door option with a built-in electric strike, staff at the showroom have full remote access control, for added security.

Ash Pearson, Sales Manager at Jack Aluminium added: “This is another great example of IDF Aluminium’s work – they’re always thinking outside the box and using our systems in really interesting ways.”
