REYNAERS aluminium curtain wall system for facades and roofs has created new angles for a modern office building for Groupama in Chartres, southwest of Paris.
Its building was designed by architects Agence Franc Gérard and covers 4,400m2, with an envelope in pre-oxidised copper panels. The staggered façade curtain walling created from Reynaers’ CW 50 multi-level product, incorporates vivid coloured glass inserts.
Rebecca Cope, Marketing Manager at Reynaers, said: “Our extensive range of CW 50 curtain walls meets all the requirements of contemporary architecture. With regard to energy performance, the system offers different solutions, allowing the use of triple glazing – making the facade applicable for passive house or energy efficient buildings.
“Dedicated opening types can also be seamlessly integrated; such as a parallel opening window, a top hung window, a hidden vent turn and tilt window, plus a flush roof vent for integration in roof applications of CW 50.”
