FIT Show footie kicks off again

The FIT Show wouldn’t be complete without its five-a-side tournament and names are being taken now for the 2016 schedule of games.

Following the success of 2014’s tournament that saw the likes of GQA, GT Windows, Vita Cellular Foams, Haffner and Business Micros - who came out on top unbeaten in all their games - all fielding players, GQA boss and proud Barnsley fan Mick Clayton is now taking names and putting together a schedule of games.

“When it comes to the FIT Show football I always get a lot of calls,” says Mick. “It seems to be one of the highlights on the FIT Show calendar.

“We’ve got fantastic facilities complete with referees with up to six teams playing each other once and the top two competing in the final.”

With a presentation taking place in the clubhouse after the tournament complete with food and drink, winners will receive a trophy each - and of course bragging rights until the next FIT Show - and will be announced as winners at the FIT Show Gala Dinner.
