Automated doors and windows
to debut at FIT
February 2016

Cotswold Architectural Products and parent company Caldwell Hardware are to debut a range of automated window and door systems at the FIT Show following growing demand for the products in the US.

Caldwell has been working for some time developing the automated systems, predominantly windows for commercial applications but also for bi-folds in the domestic arena. These have been well received in the US market and will be shown for the first time in the UK at FIT, with working exhibits on the stand.

Cotswold Sales & Marketing Director Tim Ferkin said: “Motorised or automated windows and doors are commonplace in the United States, where Caldwell is headquartered, and we are leading the conversation about bringing automation to the UK market in a big way.

“In the USA and now the UK we are investing time and money to make this a reality and are excited about showcasing this at the FIT Show.”

FIT 2016 marks the first time the companies have exhibited together, following the acquisition of Cotswold by US-based Caldwell in 2014, and is the first time Caldwell has had a presence at the FIT Show.

As well as the automated products, the companies will also be showing many other products in the extended range that resulted from the acquisition.

The FIT Show runs from the 12th – 14th April at the International Centre Telford. Caldwell and Cotswold will be on stand 262.
