Award wins

MRA Marketing picked up three awards at this year’s Construction Marketing Awards, while facade and renewable energy specialists The Alumet Group won one.

MRA, which specialises in strategic marketing in the construction, window and home-improvement sectors, won the awards for Best Use of Advertising (client: Acheson & Glover) and Best Use of Website (client: Door-Stop) while also being highly commended as a finalist in Best Use of PR (client: Swisspacer). The judges praised MRA’s “careful and strategic approach” the benefits of which “will continue to be felt for a number of years”.

“We are thrilled that all our hard work on three very different accounts has been recognised in this way,” says Mike Rigby, MRA’s managing director. “The CMAs are awarded by a panel of genuine experts – people who really understand both marketing and construction. We’ve received awards in all the most important categories: PR, advertising and online. It’s a great result and we are delighted both for MRA and for our clients.”

The Alumet Group beat a shortlist of eight to receive the Best Marketing Campaign over £25k award in recognition of the successful launch and national awareness of its EOS Energy brand.

The product launch was managed by Alumet's internal marketing team and incorporated trade shows, literature, advertising, community engagement and networking events.

The judges said: "Alumet have demonstrated a strategic marketing campaign that has been professionally implemented throughout the whole business and achieved significant results. The company utilised innovative techniques to ensure a cost effective campaign which has successfully placed the business high up in the renewable energy market."
