Double expansion for double-G winner

Commercial installer The Window Company (Contracts) has opened another extension at its Chelmsford HQ less than two years since it last expanded.

The second extension is specifically to provide a dedicated space for its rapidly growing new build department. The company, which was named the G-Awards Installer of the Year in both 2015 and 2014, moved into the public new build sector in 2014 and has already seen that part of the business grow to 20% of turnover, with contracts for councils and social housing providers across London and the South East.

Chairman David Thornton said: “We’re determined to go on investing in the space we need to maintain our efficiency and ensure that we can go on delivering the service levels which have made us famous.”
