Business Micros continues to grow with an expansion at its Newton Le Willows sales and installation office and the recruitment of two new members to join its Technical Resource Team.

With orders up 28% compared to the same period last year, the software specialist is investing in the resources it needs to keep pace with such fast growing customer demand.

Managing Director Graeme Bailey says: “We’ve already expanded our office space in Newton Le Willows once since we moved into this building last year and now we’re expanding again with a new dedicated office for carrying out installations and a new area for training and presentations.

“We’re also currently recruiting for an additional support technician and, for the first time, a field support programmer based here who can provide rapid bespoke software changes for customers using our EvoNet business management system.

“We reached a major milestone recently with 75% of the 1590 PVC-U fabricators identified by the recent Insight Data report now using our software and more choosing us all the time, but the biggest growth is still coming from existing customers who want to expand their software capability.

“We’ve already responded to that by restructuring our Technical Resource team to make our service faster and more flexible, and now we’re growing that team as well so that we can make sure we continue to provide the level of service which we know sets us apart from the competition.”

As well as providing CNC links for the increasing number of customers who are investing in new machinery, the biggest growth area for Business Micros is in its EvoNet business management software.

This is increasingly being chosen by fabricators who are themselves managing large scale expansion programmes because it effectively provides a dashboard for them to monitor every aspect of their business and allows them to generate reports and analyses to support their business planning.
