New telescopic shootbolt

NICO MANUFACTURING has expanded its range of locking systems with the launch of the Nico Telescopic Shootbolt.

The Nico Telescopic Shootbolt offers an alternative to shootbolt extensions that require cropping to fit, featuring a patented design said to reduce stockholding and fitting time.

The telescopic bar is adjusted and clamped to fit the window profile, with a choice of four sizes covering a range of lengths from 500mm to 1400mm. The steel shootbolts lock into profile specific keeps, with mushroom cams providing additional strength and weatherseal compression adjustment.

For maximum corrosion protection and attractive silver finish, the Nico Telescopic Shootbolt is plated with Supercoat 500, which provides over 480 hours salt spray resistance (BS EN1670 Class 5). It is Secured by Design approved and meets the requirements of PAS 024 as a critical component.
