Aluminium automation 
Haffner’s latest machine will bring all the benefits of automation to the aluminium window fabrication sector. It’s a sister product to the SBA cutting and machining centre.
The aluminium centre will improve quality because every window is fabricated to the same standards. It will also reduce waste because optimum aluminium usage is automatically calculated.
The machine sits alongside Haffner’s CNC routing machinery to create a suite of products that support aluminium fabricators.
Dave Thomas, Haffner GB’s managing director, said: “Aluminium fabrication has been a growth area for a while but there was very little on the market that allowed fabricators to guarantee the quality or maximise plant usage in the way that PVC-U fabricators can. We believe that the introduction of the aluminium SBA centre brings the technology available to PVC-U fabricators to aluminium fabricators.”
