Version 7 launch

 

Business Micros (Aluminium) has launched the latest upgrade to its LogiKal software – Version 7.

The processing, estimating and production software offers more logical and dynamic processing experience than the earlier Version 6.1.

Dean Hodges, sales and marketing director at Business Micros (Aluminium), said: “Our German software development partners Orgadata have taken on board feedback from users in the UK and across Europe and have enhanced Version 7 so that it has a more conventional and user friendly layout than previously and allows users to navigate more freely between tasks.

“All of our customers who use LogiKal Version 6.1 have automatically been upgraded to Version 7 as part of their contract with us and we are receiving very positive reports on the enhanced performance which it offers.”

One of the key benefits of the new LogiKal Version 7 is that it is now easier and quicker than ever to create changes or bespoke modifications to the software to suit different glazing systems or different business requirements.

“This latest upgrade further strengthens LogiKal’s position as the number one software choice in this sector,” Dean added. “Seventeen aluminium profile systems in the UK now make available their system databases within LogiKal so there is increasingly no convincing argument for fabricators to continue to use single software applications per profile system.

“LogiKal 7 offers a universal platform which can be used throughout a fabrication business – for manufacturing in different profiles and glazing systems and throughout the ordering and estimating process.”
