Hurst has launched the Hurricane collection of roller shutter doors.

The doors, which are manufactured from solid aluminium and insulated with a foam core, have been created to combine great looks with superb thermal and sound insulation. They benefit from durable, maintenance-free aluminium slats, which are unaffected by temperature and will resist an attack by would be intruders with ease.

Designed with convenience and safety in mind, the Hurricane collection provides smooth operation at the touch of a button and comes, as standard, with a convenient remote control handset to operate the doors. This allows the user to open and close the garage door from the comfort and safety of their car. For added peace of mind, the door will automatically lock on closure, while an integrated infra-red photo electric safety beam ensures that the door will stop closing automatically and return to the open position if the door’s path becomes obstructed.

The collection is available in a wide range of colours and wood finishes and can be matched to any Hurst composite door or an existing door or window for a co-ordinated look. The roller shutters come with a two year warranty and the electric motors are guaranteed for five years.

The sturdy, fitter friendly, Hurricane roller shutter doors are made to measure, and will fit most homes and are able to span a much larger width than most traditional garage doors. And should any of the slats be damaged, they can simply be replaced without the expense and inconvenience of having to replace the entire door.

A fully functioning 2.1 metre x 1 metre demonstration unit, which operates from mains supply, is available. Additional sales material includes product literature and a set of colour lath swatches.
