High school contract

Pleckgate High School in Blackburn will be fitted with Seniors Hybrid – Series 2 aluminium timber composite windows.

Currently under construction, the £25 million new Building Schools for the Future school will be a showcase of the best of modern schools design in the area.

Hybrid – Series 2 is a commercial composite window system which offers a slim profile with clean sight lines and flexibility by modular design. Designed and fabricated in the UK Hybrid saves both lead times to site and cuts much needed CO2 emissions in transport.

Seniors customer Dortech Architectural Systems of Huddersfield won the contract to design, manufacture and install the windows for the new development. The main contractor on the development is Balfour Beatty Education and the architects are Aedas in Manchester.
