A familiar face

 

The Stillwater group has secured the services of Carol Burton to oversee the day-to-day administration of A Plus Aluminium, the aluminium and PVCU trade supply arm of the group.

Carol is a familiar face and name to many within the industry, particularly in the south east where she has spent the last 30 years involved in all aspects of window manufacturing, sales and distribution.

Carol’s role within A Plus Aluminium will be to oversee the manufacture of the company’s product range to meet the latest Part L requirements as well as ensuring they keep to the British Standards and Secured by Design accreditations that the company hold. In addition, Carol’s wide-ranging brief is to “keep the customer happy” from the moment they make an enquiry, right through to delivery.

A Plus Aluminium managing director Steve Warr said: “Carol’s reputation for rigorous organisation and her outstanding knowledge and enthusiasm made her the perfect person to join us and already, just a month in, we are seeing the difference she makes. Under her control we were the first company to attain BFRC accreditation for our Crown Casement Window system and a series of Customer Open days have been planned to help keep our customers informed about new products and changes to the Building Regulations. We are thrilled to have Carol with us.”
