New premises

Sapa Building Systems has announced a major investment in new premises that will enable further expansion and consolidate its position in Gloucestershire.

The move will allow the company to merge its two existing operations in Gloucestershire at a single site with state-of-the-art facilities.

The 116,000ft2 premises in Tewkesbury Business Park (close to the company’s current headquarters) will provide scope for future expansion as the company prepares to celebrate 50 successful years in business next year and will enable Sapa to maintain its prime location, with excellent communications and access to the whole of the UK.

Sapa provides architects, specifiers, fabricators, developers, installers and householders with a wide range of innovative aluminium systems for curtain walling, doors, windows and specialist applications.

The company’s history dates back to the formation of the well known Glostal and Monarch brands, together with the more recent acquisition by Sapa of RC System in Europe.

“By consolidating our operation at one site we will be even better placed to bring together our expertise in producing a class-leading range of innovative aluminium systems while offering potential for expansion and further developing our strong customer service culture,” said Jon Palethorpe, Sapa Building Systems’ commercial director.
