A Beaufort folding/sliding door, fabricated and fitted by KAT UK, is providing the
purr-fect view onto poolside patio at a luxury home in Essex.

KAT UK’s aluminium division fabricated the four-part door from Beaufort’s new Advanced Plus residential door suite. KAT UK in Macclesfield is the first of an exclusive network of fabricators to offer Beaufort’s recently launched folding/sliding door and is marketing the new door as the 9000 Series.

The Beaufort Folding/Sliding door supplied by KAT UK for the house in Essex replaces patio doors and features three doors that fold and slide to the right and one door opening to the left. The outward opening doors have a standard threshold, a 150mm cill and 28mm chamfered bead. A cement-grey coloured polyester finish was specified to match the property’s existing doors. The new doors were supplied fully assembled for installation on site by one of KAT’s experienced Service Engineers.

Beaufort’s new space-saving Advanced Plus folding/sliding door is the slimmest aluminium framed door on the market, the company claims, and offers up to 30 panel and door configurations, enabling up to a 90% aperture opening. It also includes Beaufort’s flush handle design that allows panels to be stacked without any obstruction.
