Designs on a new database

Insight Data has launched a new database containing full contact details of more than 15,000 architects and specifiers, helping their clients break into the commercial market.

“Targeting architects early on in the specification process can give your company a major advantage over competitors,” explained Insight’s data manager David Lewis. “Clients can now instantly pinpoint architects specialising in key sectors such as housing, education, health, retail, leisure or commercial and, if necessary, drill down further into sub-sectors such as social housing or schools. So instead of sitting back and waiting for projects to come out of planning – along with all your competitors – you can now get your products in front of them at the design stage.”

The database uses Insight Data’s Salestracker system, which clients’ access via Insight’s website.  There is no software to install and users simply log-on and select the architects or specifiers they want to target by sector, sub-sector or region. The system has a built-in contact manager so users can track marketing campaigns, record notes and follow-up leads effectively.
