GGF roadshow The GGF is presenting a series of roadshows, designed to answer some of the perplexing questions surrounding the planned publication of the Building Regulations in April. The roadshows are planned to take place from April 2010, at venues throughout England and Wales. And they will be delivered by some of the UK’s foremost experts on glazing Regulations. The changes include windows, doors and conservatories in new and existing buildings, including domestic and commercial properties. It is essential that any company manufacturing and installing windows, doors and conservatories understands fully the amended Regulations for when they become statutory from October 2010. The one day seminars are being organised by the GGF and its group companies the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) and Fenestration Self Assessment (FENSA). They will cover the updated ‘Approved Documents for Thermal Performance’ (ADL) and a similar document for Ventilation (ADF). Significantly the conservatory installation sector is also likely to be covered by ADL. All of these key areas will be covered with delegates able to learn everything they need to become compliant by 1st October 2010. Dates of the GGF Building Regs’ Road Show will be confirmed as soon as the ADLs are published at the beginning of April. To register your interest in attending email seminars2010@ggf.org.uk
